The Chase

This project was to film a chase sequence with three acts in it. Each act telling parts of the story. Act one setting up the for the plot and the main character. Act two rising up to the climax and then giving the climax. Act three Leading to the resolution of the story and showing the ending.

The process of making this whole video happen took a few todays. The first step was to plan the whole thing out with a storyboard and everything. My partner and I had to come up with an ida and then plan what shots would tell what part of the story. We both had different ideas at first but when one idea came up another came up and eventually we had the same idea on how the story would go. Filming wasn't to hard since we had everything planned out ready to film. After filming we edited and we edited pretty fast and added music and timed it all pretty well.

Somethings I learned were that when filming was trying get certain angles and shots its tough to not break the 180 degree rule. (That means to film on only one half the character.) I broke it when the brush shot showed. Also when doing the Over the Shoulder shot we didn't quiet get over the shoulder. Non-filming wise My partner and me were a great duo when it came to this video.

Worm

Worm   By Alex Gabel

I made the worm and background in Photoshop and then made the worm move in Adobe After Effects. I made the worm move in an inchworm movement using the puppet tool in After Effects. This was a fun project.

Walk to the Classroom

The Walk to the Classroom video is about a student going to his class from his locker. Using the six shot system and ten shots I told a story with different shots and angles.

Bouncy Ball

Bouncy Ball
A Ball Bouncing with a little bit of squash and stretch after every time it hits the ground. I made the ball and background in Photoshop, then made the ball bounce in Adobe After Effects. This project was a fun first project to get introduced in animation and the projects to come.
